PearsonLloyd’s Ad-lib chair system comprises a single core frame, onto which a range of seating solutions can be specified – be it stacking legs, cantilever legs or a swivel base. The system responds to the emergence of non-owned work settings – such as touch-down, collaborative work and meeting areas – which are used for short periods of time.
To fulfil the needs of seating in this space, the chair has an automatic weightsensitive tilt mechanism, so everyone using the chair can be comfortable without having to make any adjustments.
While only a limited number of parts exist, the ability to pick and choose how they are configured makes it possible to build a chair based on the functions needed. The use of the same core structure, however, brings an aesthetic continuity and calm to the office interior.
