PearsonLloyd is looking for a Senior Designer to join its creative team in London! The successful applicant will take a lead role in the studio and work to produce unique and innovative design concepts for new products or the expansion of existing lines, researching the market, trends, user experience, current technologies and innovative material. The role will also include building professional relationships with clients and suppliers and assisting the Directors with Design Proposals for new clients/projects. 5 years of experience in a similar role or 3 years with a Master’s degree is essential, as well as a keen interest in user experience, current technologies and innovative material. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strategic design thinking are also a must, as is the good project management skills and the ability to handle sensitive/confidential information. Technical skills for the position include experience working with Solidworks, 3D Studio Max & the Adobe Creative Suite and fluency in English (other languages a plus).
PearsonLloyd is looking for a Visualiser to join its creative team in London! The successful applicant will be able to create strong visuals, visuals for the studio projects and communications, including renders, presentations, animations, photography and video, as well as provide design assistance to senior designers and the directors. We are looking for applicants with 1-3 years of experience in a similar role who have great communication skills both orally and visually and who can work effectively in a team and independently. Experience working with Solidworks, 3D Studio Max & the Adobe Creative Suite is essential, as well as excellent graphic and illustrative skills, an eye for compositions and renders and a proven interest in social media. An empathy with our work and a keen interest in contemporary design and architecture is also a must!
Intern (with immediate start)
We are looking for a talented and highly motivated intern to join our studio and provide support in a range of projects in product, furniture, interior and transportation design. The successful applicant will have great communication skills both orally and visually and will be able to work effectively in a team and independently. Good skills in sketching & modelmaking, as well as confidence in working with Solidworks, 3D Studio Max & the Adobe Creative Suite are essential. General knowledge of furniture making and an empathy with PearsonLloyd’s work are also a must!
