Freehand, a collection of occasional tables, responds to the desire for a little imperfection within a mass-produced world. Developed using extruded aluminium, normally a precision engineering technology, Freehand expresses a meeting point between industry and craft, the organic and technical.
Like the artist’s pencil, the freehand outline of the hexagonal table tops – themselves inspired by natural geometric formations, such as honeycomb and geological (basalt) columns – creates a degree of randomness that juxtaposes the mechanical process behind creating its extruded aluminium components.
The tables’ modular nature and variety of five base shapes, three height options and wide range of finish combinations and top surface materials allow it to fit any space, serving as a side table or coffee table within a diverse range of settings.
